Reel Gold Miner 2 plays a lot like Gold Miner where you have to collect a certain amount of gold before the timer runs out. There are a lot of important differences however. First off, you can move your cart left and right across the screen to better position yourself before dropping your rope. Also, the rope doesn't swing quite as much left and right as in Gold Miner. The goal isn't to collect a set amount of cash but instead to simply collect all the gold nuggets so you can move on to the next stage. One thing to keep in mind, is that you will only be able to grab the nuggets that are glowing so there is a certain order to grab them in. Dull gold nuggets will shine only after you've collected a particular piece of gold. Another difference is that you have to manually haul the gold in and your rope goes A LOT faster! That theme keeps true in that Reel Gold Miner 2 is a faster paced game than Gold Miner.
